Alternative Dispute Litigation
Traditional litigation may be the only way to resolve some
intractable disputes. Given the taxing expenditure of time
and resources that a resolution by trial commands, however,
it is no wonder that the overwhelming majority of civil
disputes are resolved by other methods.
At ALS we have made a study of Alternative Dispute Resolution
(ADR) and are proud of our record of maximizing results
for our clients while avoiding protracted litigation.
Before litigation is initiated and grows into an expensive
and time-consuming undertaking we review varied options
and approaches. These can include arbitration, mediation,
fast-tracking, summary jury trial, mock trial, executive
or private trial, early neutral evaluation, or even an
individually customized ADR procedure to produce better
results, faster and at less inconvenience and cost for
our clients. We never want our clients to be “winning
the battle but losing the war."
